Dear ITEM Partners,
On Thursday, July 14 I will be heading back to Africa. After a weekend in Nairobi, Kenya relaxing and dropping off books I am donating to the school where I got my start in missions 24 years ago, I will fly to Kisumu, Kenya, jump in a car with ITEM team members then drive to the border of Uganda where I’ll meet with our teams from those two countries.
After my time there, I will head back to Nairobi for one night then make my way to Kigali, Rwanda to meet with the team there. I will spend only one night there then head back to Nairobi to spend the weekend.
On Monday, July 25 I will fly to Liberia where I will meet with the team on Tuesday and on Wednesday I speak to a group of youth (18 yrs. and up) and be prepared to answer their questions about Christianity.
On Thursday, July 28 I’ll leave for home and arrive home in the afternoon of Friday, July 29.
Please be in prayer for health and safety, for fruitful meetings with our teams, and especially for the meeting with youth in Liberia on the 27 th. This will be my first opportunity to speak directly to a younger generation and be prepared to answer their questions. This is an application of the ministry of “apologetics” that I am starting.
Thanks for your prayers and interest. I’ll be in touch from Kenya on the weekend, Lord
willing.
By His grace,
Steve
